Hi, I’m Linda Matulich-Crosswell, the owner of Luxe Hair Matakana on Matakana Road.

 

I have been in the hairdressing industry for 25+ years.

I started on my path with Rodney Wayne Hairdressing where I completed my apprenticeship and continued to work for several years.

I then freelanced before setting up my own salon in Epsom where I had built up quite a vast and impressive portfolio of clients which included familiar faces on our television screens and some wonderful people from the surrounding area and beyond.

 

Then in 2002 my husband was offered an international assignment in Singapore with his company where we spent the last 18 years. This was a wonderful experience and a great opportunity.

Life as an expat in Singapore was an amazing and unforgettable lifestyle experience.

 

My life as a hairdresser continued in Singapore where there was a huge demand for the expat community. My clientele were ladies only and I specialised in all types of hairdressing and colour work, but mainly blonding. Foils are my specialty.

 

Since returning home to NZ in early 2020, and after living centrally in Auckland for most of my life, we made the decision to move to greener pastures and the Rodney District is now our home. Falling in love with this beautiful area is what made me make the very easy decision to continue in my profession and what better place than right here in the beautiful Matakana Village location.

 

We have been fortunate to find a shop (formerly also a salon) in a quirky little block of five, to launch my business and undertake extensive renovations.

 

We will offer a quality service and use only the highest quality products with a particular emphasis on naturally derived and no nasties!

 

I’ve created a relaxing environment and am using only the best professional products.
